Npower Community Fund and other Presentations
Presentation of cheques from Npower Community Fund by Chair Lynne Rowland to various good causes including £250 to the Trex Gym for specialist equipment and the Archery Club for equipment and to the Friends of Weardale Community Hospital (£300) from Council funds.
The Council agreed to requests for further awards from the Npower fund. Tow Law Family Learning Group were given £160 towards the cost of hiring a bus to take family members of the group to a presentation organised by the Sunderland Foundation at the Stadium of Light. Tow Law Community Association were given £250 towards the cost of a pantomime in the Community Centre at the end of November 2014 (see photo to left) and £250 to the Scouts/Cubs (see photo above).
